Katie Ballam joins DKF Insolvency Limited

The directors of DKF Insolvency Limited are delighted to announce, that from 1 December 2015, Katie Ballam joins the expanding team of specialist insolvency practitioners.

Katie Ballam qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2008, she is a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA); the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3) and director at DKF Insolvency.

Having worked in a Top 10 Insolvency firm, Katie brings with her a wealth of understanding gained from over 15 years’ experience in both corporate and personal insolvency.

Southend baby goods company Zebedee has gone into liquidation

Darren Wilson of DKF Insolvency Limited has been consulted by the directors of Zebedee Limited with a view to assisting them in placing the company into creditors voluntary liquidation.  The company ceased trading on 28 October following which all staff were unfortunately made redundant.  Mr Wilson said “It is such a great shame that a long established business which has been in Southend for 44 years can no longer continue to trade".

Largest Members Voluntary Liquidation to date

DKF have been appointed Liquidator over a property holding company which, after selling its freehold property in London, left net cash in the company of over £3.4m with a further small retention connected to the sale still to be realised, which is due for release next year.

Darren Wilson, Director at DKF said “the Shareholders (of which there were many) were pleased to receive the main First Distribution which was declared as planed within 7 days of the company being placed in Liquidation.”
